How to choose

Do not buy only by wattage

Resin curing depends on compatibility and setup. A powerful light at the wrong wavelength or wrong distance can still give poor results.

1Check resin wavelength

Confirm the resin, UV glue or material manufacturer recommends curing around 405nm.

2Match curing area

Small models need a different setup than larger 3D prints, trays or craft surfaces.

3Control distance

Curing strength changes with distance and angle. Keep your setup repeatable.

4Test curing time

Run small tests because curing time depends on resin type, thickness, power and distance.

Applications

Where 405nm UV lights may be useful

These are suitability directions, not guarantees. Always check material instructions and test first.

3D printingPost-curing prints

Use when the 3D printing resin supports 405nm curing. Test time and distance before final use.

Craft resinJewelry and models

Useful for compatible craft resin, miniatures and small models where controlled curing is needed.

UV glueAdhesive curing

Use only when the UV glue specifies curing around 405nm or supports the selected wavelength.

Larger workFloodlight-style curing

Consider a wider light only if the product is 405nm-suitable and the curing area needs broader coverage.

Important limits

What we should not promise

No exact curing time

Curing time depends on resin type, UV power, distance, angle, layer thickness, model shape and environment. Do not use a fixed curing time unless tested for that material and setup.

No compatibility with all resins

Not every resin, glue or material cures at the same wavelength. Check the manufacturer’s curing wavelength and instructions before purchase.

Keep this separate from 365nm inspection UV

365nm inspection torches should not be recommended for resin curing unless the exact product and material are documented as suitable.

No medical or dental curing use

This page is for craft, resin, UV glue and 3D print curing only. Do not position these lights for medical, dental, clinical or regulated curing applications.
